Its finally the kind of weather which we all dream off, and seem to get at funny times, thanks in part to the climate change which is going on all around us. This weekend I had the pleasure of taking a few road trips in the car hire (by the hour if you must know) which me and my better other half use every weekend. We find its cheaper then owning a car, and if booked in advance can be a heck of a lot cheaper then on the day.
When it comes to weekend activities, its fair to say the there are generally a lot of things to do: taking the rubbish out, going to the ‘tip’ ( a place as a child I visited with my father to get rid of all the horrible things from the garden, for years I never was allowed out of the car to go and play in the rubbish but now I am!) and of course just going for drive. It got me thinking however; with a plethora of activities requiring a fairly large car, is it actually worth renting a car or for eases sake.

Its a car yeah.
It could be said that infact my weekend chores could be made a lot easier if we decided to use a van hire firm and essentially killed two birds with one stone.
What do you think?

This is what happens when you are carrying gas whilst smoking cigarettes in your white van van hire – perhaps the driver was visiting friends.
Either way I don’t think it meant a happy Christmas for him.

Perhaps this was the man after…

I recently moved house. The house is nice and I seem to have made the right choice – something I frequently struggle with.
It got me to thinking how would I have moved house in my current financial situation – If I didn’t have access to a big white van, me being under the category of White Van Man.
Now I am part owner of the band’s van – which is good for a multitude of reasons: Being able to get to gigs and always have somewhere to sleep, on our advances for shows our booking guy over @Glasgow Music always asks for a space for a splitter van – which is a cool type of band friendly white van. Look it up.
Reason # 2 is that despite it generally being filled with lots of gear and occasionally some lads mags, it doubles up fairly well as a quick removal type thing which means – I can go from living somewhere with no cats, to living with 3 who live above.
I think this cat is the cutest.

Without the use of the van I would have to perhaps use van hire to take all of my stuff which would have cost an arm and a leg. Instead I have this situation for any form of removals if your interested in this contact me? Also If you have tried to move furniture with a normal car you will get what I’m on about.
