Awake Oh Sleeper
The Americans are very keen on ‘training’ and cock n bull like ‘personal development’. I however am not into training or personal development. Why develop something that is always great…! OK so enough of the OTT fairly untrue arrogance.
How many of us have been so tempted (or actually have) to fall asleep whilst sat at our desks? Apparently it is a common problem? Perhaps due to overworking in the work place or due to going home and again having to work (dishes, hoover etc). Of course its very tempting to quickly jump into your large king sized bed and fall asleep and forget that your kitchen probably should be cleaned before the house inspection the next day.
Now as much as I have a fair enough of disdain for the way our friends across the Atlantic, they can occasionally come up trumps on things and can give albeit occasionally good advice. Such as this Video I found courtesy of WikiHow…
Now what is so interesting about what the lovely lady says here is that by actually restricting myself I could actually benefit! So could this mean that at work if I do nothing for a week the next week I will be hyper active and able to produce incredible work?
For more information on sleeping well this article is extremely useful. However, I don’t recommend sleeping in wet sheets as this can give the impression that you have a huge amount of incontinence or your urine doesn’t have a smell, which could be bad…?
